Drew this after seeing shamu.

I tried to get the ocean/waves to look good, but I think I should'a done a better job on 'em.

If I may offer a suggestion on the water, he's coming straight up out of the water, right? Not just walking through it? It might help if you had more of it spraying upwards (it mostly seems to be going out to the sides), and some dripping off his body. Otherwise, it's great, what a yummy whale. :lick:

And the little boat is a perfect touch.

Thanks for the tips, but I don't know if I'll be able to get around to fixing it. So for now just pretend the water is settling from the splashing entrance he made a few moments ago. ;-)

And a lot of people seem to like the boat idea. I'm slowly leaning towards drawing more 'an macro shtuff. You guys are bad influences ;p

Oh, that's cool, I only meant it as a "for future reference" sort of suggestion. :)

Heh heh, well, you draw 'em so big, it's the natural next step for them to be gigantic. ;)

I think the water turned out amazing....keep it up. You did a great job with the size, and I love how you compared it to the boat. Great work!

Ah, yes! Shamu is a big 'un, isn't he. Of course, given the size of the two people in the rowboat, your orca isn't a slouch in the size department, either.
